Coming Soon: Clean Fuel in South Lake Union

As global demand for oil rises and prices skyrocket, it's never been more important to invest in secure, domestic fuels. Fuels that reduce imported oil and re-invest our dollars in America. Propel is excited to announce its latest clean fuel location, our flagship station in Downtown Seattle. Serving both consumers and commercial vehicles, the station is environmentally sensitive in design, construction and operation.

Scheduled to open June 28 the station will sell B20 biodiesel and B5 diesel, both fully compatible with diesel vehicles. A high-flow hose is available for commercial fueling.

Sustainable Station Design

The South Lake Union station was built to be environmentally sensitive in design, construction and operation. Constructed with biodiesel powered vehicles, the station utilizes recycled building materials, energy efficient LED lighting and high efficiency pumps. A cistern is incorporated into the site’s canopy feeding its green landscaped area. The only runoff from the site is clean filtered water. The station’s greenscape is planted with biodiesel feedstocks including canola, camelina and soy.
In addition to sustainable design, Propel stations operate carbon neutral, offsetting the balance of their energy use through Carbon Fund.
